Highlights of the 2007 Report In 2006, 84 Canadian exploration and production companies had land holdings in 69 countries worldwide. Forty-seven Canadian exploration and development companies produced 780,799 b/d of crude oil and liquids in 32 countries worldwide - a decrease of 54,575 b/d or 6.5% from 2005 Canadian international production levels. Thirty-five Canadian exploration and production companies produced 2,400.5 MMcf/d of natural gas in 22 countries worldwide - an increase of 291.6 MMcf/d or 13.8% from 2005 Canadian international production levels. In total, 129 Canadian companies had international operations, made sales, or had land holdings in 118 countries worldwide.
